I need to know how to maximise exposure with google adwords...

Do you not get enough clicks or something?

You can pour money down the drain with Adwords! There is a lot of info available on Googles own help pages to get you started and you need to read this first. Do your research first before you ever commit once cent. Research your key words carefully and dont go for the popular ones. Start off with a very small highly targeted campaign and a strict daily budget. And see how that goes.

im trying to achieve that, but seems pretty hard, even though I read the instructions carefully on google ads

bid low and make your ads link to VERY LIGHT WIEGHT fast loading pages that relate to the keyword you are targeting - the MORE time your ad page takes to load the MORE google will charge you and the LESS exposer they will give your ad - I learn the hard way on that on - Hope this helps
