Any new Walmart.com sellers?
 

What is needed to sell on Walmart.com? I heard it was pretty hard, was wondering if its still hard? got an invite through a 3rd party but says I must meet their qualifications. Im currently a sole proprietor on Amazon with SSN number. I do 250k/y in sales want to expand.

I don't think they make the requirements known. In the application they'll ask for your business info, sales revenue, selling platforms, product lines, years selling and feedback received. They denied my 150k gross sales branded biz, but I'm chalking it up to the types of goods and they're looking for more professional product photos more akin to AMZ's. I don't think they're fond of dropshippers either.

I knew someone in person that was able to get on Walmart. Supposedly, they want to see 750k yearly sales to quality. He didn't have that, but he sweet talked the agent and made a good case for his products, that they allowed him to sell on Walmart without meeting the conditions. Don't know if that works for everyone though!

Samething with with rakuten. Had no problems with them before but I only used them during peak season because they suck. I went to active my account again and they denied me. 250k a year with amazon.

Did walmart ask for any type of resellers i.d?

Nope. In the email they indirectly suggested I'd been declined (like my feelings would be hurt and I'd jump off a cliff or something) and that they weren't looking for sellers. Who knows the real reason. I see tons of dropshippers, but they may have gotten on board before the hype train took off.
