Mercari Question
 

I am running a Mercari stealth account from an old iPhone. I am using my current cell phone's hot spot to connect to WiFi and use the app.

How should I go about printing the labels?

New user account on my PC and connect to the hotspot from my PC and print from there?

Just use stamps.com.

Or do what you said, it wouldn't really matter.

Thanks for the response phazorz! And yes I am just going to do what I said as I use the Mercari shipping label.

I just got a little worried because when I logged into the email on my PC it wanted me to sign in to print the label and it was asking for my old Mercari account. Didn't want them to link.

never knew it existed. always looking for a backup since stamps.com, endicia, shipworks and shipstation all randomly fail, glitch or timeout frequently for no reason. the software many of these companies build is horrendous. stamps.com and shipworks have brand new problems every time i update the desktop versions. these companies have software that looks like some computer science kid built it for his senior project

Can you import eBay orders into Pirateship? I've never used any of these 3rd party things...

I just want something that will do the small, multiple packing slips per sheet of papar like paypal used to do back in the day.

I think it was 7 or 8. Now it's one, or something stupid like that...

Yes...just like shipstation. Only problem currently is that the item weights dont come over. Hopefully soon, there will be a fix.

About mercari and shipping and this is what a friend told me, he said that Mercari wants you to use their shipping.

Apparently he got in trouble when he did his own UPS label written by hand. They warned him and told him to ship using mercari.

If it's true, it's one of the most ridiculous crap I've heard.

The website itself is basically Craigslist. Post an item for $500 and people just message you : "$50?"

I use my own shipping labels from pirateship all the time, never been in trouble. I will say, sometimes mercari shipping is cheaper, just depends.

I can't say that everyone will do awesome, just depends what you sell.....I'm doing extremely well but that's just me.

I do love how Mercari gives people 3 days to approve the sale, after 3 days you get your cash and none of this chargeback crap.

I've only ever used eB and PP to print labels.

Can you set up shipping presets, like on PP, and apply them to various order?

I used stamps.com forever switched to pirateship a couple months ago. Can't believe I wasted so much money on stamps.com over the years. :doh:

exactly. years ago i used the desktop software until every update broke something. then i used the web version, but it times out like crazy, some days just wont even load and then over the past couple of months, it cant even calculate postage randomly. i dont have a fxcking clue what they are doing over there. shipping is simple. we dont need fancy garbage, just reliability.

shipworks desktop software is so bad, even they know it. there is a big warning every time you update to create backups of everything because your shxt is probably going to crash and it did exactly that again to me so i gave up on them.

Pirate ship is amazing, theyll give you eBay's discounted prices on shipping. I use it for mercari, etsy, ebay.. Everything but posh mark bc pm is not flexible with labels at all. You can download the scan sheet everyday so just about all of my labels are in one place, one scan.

Been using pirateship for months and i LOVE them. Also use them for stealth accounts, works perfectly

Stupid question.....Do you use one PirateShip account for all your stealth accounts or do you have a separate one for each stealth?
