Default Liquidation electronics

I've been looking at the Liquidation Electronics site specifically at the pallets of laptops. Before I dare to jump in I'm wondering if anyone has any experience with this stuff. Looks like the Liquidate for best buy. These laptops are going for about $100 a piece give or take. I would need to get more than half these things working in order to make any $. I don't need a bunch of junk like burned out motherboards. Anyone have any experience with this stuff
Thanks in advance
Bret

It's high priced junk. Especially if it says salvaged. Customer returns you might get lucky if it was a simple return due to not wanting it or needing the money. But if it's a return because they broke it or took some parts or whatever then it's as good as salvaged. GOOD LUCK!

Thanks for the info Oge. This stuff is marked liquidation at liquidation electronics. I know they sell stuff from Best Buy. Most of these laptops would go for around $300 used. Guys are bidding these things at over $100 each item. I figure I would have to make about 70% of these items to work in order to be worth the trouble. They also sell reconditioned Laptops that are tested and working but they go for like half of retail don't know how you make a profit there. I'd really like to get a hold of someone that has purchased one of these pallets of laptops to tell me what I can expect.

If you cannot afford to lose the money, then don't do it. Sometimes these liquidation deals are great, and sometimes not. They are almost always as-is where-is. So you can't return them if they are total garbage.

I would check with the BBB and do a google search of the company. That would be the best way to find out (unless, as you pointed out, you knew someone who bought from them before).
