Shopify?
 

Anyone use the website shopify to sell their goods? They have a free 30 day trial, just wanted to see if anyone had any luck there and how is the site traffic?

Shopify offers web-hosting for your e-commerce store. Their software is said to be easy to use and you can have a nice looking store without knowing HMTL, etc.

But, as with all websites that you create and own, you have to drive traffic to it yourself. The advantage of eBay and Amazon is that they already HAVE the traffic, that is a big part of what you are paying for. Nobody would pay a 15% fee on each sale just for hosting a website.

There are a ton of ways to get traffic to your website. I recommend Aspkin's Six Figure Boss if you are going this route. There are a LOT of valuable tips that will probably save you a lot of money in there. One of the biggies is to make sure that the traffic you are buying is as TARGETED as possible. Otherwise, you will waste a ton of cash.

The traffic can be rough to get for a website - takes 1) solid advertising 2) good niche/products 3) etc. - always worth building your own coupled with eB and Az sales

Thanks for the replies. Ebay definitely has the traffic and it seems very difficult to venture elsewhere. I will look into the six figure boss. Thanks again

You can get an unlimited shopify trial (no fees until 50 sales) for a few dollars.

I have all dropshipping courses too if you want them :)
