Default transfering money F&F on PayPal to old PP account ?

noob question:

Once I get a stealth PP account up and running, is there a risk when I transfer money to my current PP account via Friends and Family ?

background: eBay account got selling suspension, still can buy, and no restriction on PP. eBay indefinite suspension is 6 months old. I currently use PP and receive commercial and private payments, and have had this PP account for 5+ years. I also buy products and pay people online with F&F and receive funds, both G&S and F&F, so a bit of activity, including eBay purchases.

So, down the road, in my new stealth PP account, what level or risk do I really put myself in when I do a F&F transfer to my old account? I know, I am hearing, "don't do it," but I am trying to gauge just how much risk that is, especially if I do other G&S and F&F transfers out of the new account.

Thanks for your (anticipated) patience.

Frankly it's one of the riskiest activities possible. F&F payments aren't included on 1099k's so what you're describing would be the very definition of money laundering. On top of that F&F payments aren't charged a transaction fee so you'd be circumventing Paypal fees, which they hate and do not tolerate. It's also extremely easy for Paypal to detect. Nobody realistically gives their friend or family member a gift of $1,XXX - or recurring gifts of $XXX every week or so.

If I were you I would avoid using F&F payments at all - but especially as you start to use stealth accounts. Otherwise you'll be lucky to keep your accounts alive.

The only safe way to move forward once your stealth account is up and running is to add a bank account and withdrawal like you're supposed to.

I understand what you are saying, but no, it is not money laundering. It is very common on social platforms for buying and selling.

Risk goes up as you repeatedly do so - more so with different accounts that clearly have no ties to you (family) or friends (pp can judge if a business transaction is going on).

Agree with phaz about bank is best

Disguising commercial funds as non commercial funds IS money laundering. What do you think money laundering is?

Just because it's common on Facebook doesn't mean anything.

I know it’s common.

But then it is just as common for paypal to limit accounts doing these transactions.

Why are you even thinking of using an old paypal?
