Does it make sense to start dropshipping with a merchant account and authorize.net?

i wanted to start dropshipping on ebay but i cant use paypal anymore so i have no choice to use a merchant account will i be successful doing this?

Start a new account.

You won't profit enough each month to cover your minimum merchant account discount (the amount you have to pay them each month), because you'll be lucky to get 1% of the sales you got with PP.

Sucks, but it's true.

Also I don't think you would be approved for a merchant account without your own inventory.
