merchant account help

So far the info here has Helped greatly.

I have a good stealth ebay up and going for almost 3 months now. I use Paypal and have over 50 pos feedback on ebay.

Can someone give me detailed info on how to start a merchant account. I would like to get rid of that paypal before they limit me. Is this possible to do. and will I be able to start selling more once I do this??

Im just a little confused on what companys to use???? And what I need?
