Is CCNOW a merchant account?
 

If I signed up with auction (3rd party checkout) it will be compatible with CCNOW. Do I still need a merchant account or a virtual gateway? I am really fed up with Paypal. My business is not blooming the way it should because my funds are limited thus the business isn't growing the way it should be.

CcNow is a merchant account and not simply virtual gateway.

Well, not really. Its not really a full blown merchant account. It really does fall much closer to a gateway in all reality.

In fact they term themselves as a reseller of your products, no?

Well true not really full blown but a virtual gateway is like a shopping cart, etc. - you need to have another service to process payments. CcNow does that - accepts paypal and cc so in that respect it is a processor.

I get what you're saying though pod but what you are referring to is quite detailed =)

do not use ccnow unless you like waiting for your money, also you have to do alot of work to get buyers to pay.

If your specific question is will eBay see CCNow as a merchant account, the answer is NO.

Its not a real merchant account per se.

Its pretty cool though, I use it.
