3dfuzion | 06-17-2011 12:10 AM | Google Checkout Charge back Question? I had or should i say made one of my customer file a chargeback with their bank for $600 on Google Checkout only because I told them to do this because google closed my merchant account and won't release my money for 180 days. Hoping this would be an fast process having him get his funds back and then pay me via AlertPay was easier said then done. Now he's telling me it could take well over 30-days for the chargeback refund to be completed from google. He really can't wait forever because he needs the product for resale and wants me to ship it out. I've done business with him in the past and everything has been smooth from A-to-Z only he said once I ship the order out and provide tracking that he would call his bank or credit card company to cancel the claim process but only I would have to wait it out for my money for 180-days. Just hoping for some insight on this tuff decision I have to make. In dealing with google how can I even defend myself or upload tracking proof of delivery when they favor claims in most cases over a closed merchant account? For any reason if this turns south will I be able to defend myself and provide tracking information if need be in the event things don't go has planned? Once a claim from the customer's bank is setup can it be cancelled or reverted closed out once tracking is provided even so I'm blind and can't upload any records of tracking on a closed google merchant account I'm in the dark here. I really need some help...thanks! :) |
