Default Using my merchant account

I was listing an item on eBay and I wanted to put merchant as my method to accept payment, but there is no merchant option. Do I need a "merchant" type ebay account, or just a regular account ?

When I tried to list something I didnt see merchant anywhere and paypal was checked and could not be unchecked. This was tried on an acct with 0 fb, maybe that is the reason? I am located in Canada, does it make a diff?

Maybe you need 1 fb or something to use merchant...

Any info is appreciated.

HI:
What you need to do--is look for that little orange check box--info screen just above the payment section..
>> CLICK on ADD/REMOVE Options... there you can add in the checks/money orders/merchant acct...
JUst put a check mark by whatever you want to add...

What EBays Doing--- NOT MAKING IT EASY FOR THE NEWBIES.. they dont really want anything but Paypal--that way they control the entire transaction start to finish...

Atm:
While in the listing--scroll down, just above the listing sections--i.e. Category-then title, then description, then price, then payment--then shipping,
there is a different color wording---it says very clearly--add/remove options...
click on it--
>> YOU techy guys--cant u get him a screen shot,please??? Thanks

OMG-- Look what Ive learned in here in the past 6 -8 months... cant believe it!! OK, here it is i think..
