Default eBay seller openly advising they take Google checkout?

I saw this seller (a Powerseller with 206 rating) on one of their tabs on their "About Me" page advertising a "Google Checkout Special" with a Google logo and all. How can this be? I thought you are not allowed to do that. Can someone explain?

wait until a competitor who views your items sees this in your advert

Where is the REPORT ITEM button ? to notify the eBay gestapo ???

I certainly wouldnt risk it personally

Offer the googlecheckout option in the initial email AFTER the item has closed you send to the winning biider

The best result i have found is offering a 5% discount for CASH paid direct in my UK business bank account (i have accounts with 3 or 4 high street branches Lloyds/Barclays/Abbey and Natiownide) no buyer will ever be too far away from one

and of course every buyer likes a saving especially when it hasnt been asked for

my take up rate rate of the 5% discount cash paid into bank is currently about 28% - not great but 28% better than lining eBays pockets

eBay actually can see images and can shut auctions down. They just usually tend not to even when it's reported. Or maybe it's that people will host it from their own website and block ebay from viewing it.

Say, is there a way to block the "report this listing" link? Like make it white or remove it entirely from your listings. I've seen listings where the seller made the entire page black. I have basic html skills but maybe someone with more expertise in this field can do this?

guru, I've seen people do that. Sometimes ebay will take those down and other sellers are just immune and ebay lets them.

I know every auction where they seller puts in javascript that intercepts your mouse so you can't view their feedback well ebay just never takes those down.
