how long does the funds take from GCO to your bank account ?
 

hi everyone

anybody know how long the funds take to our bank account ?
i just charged a customer today and showed succesful. but i can not see any funds in my account.
i am wondering if the funds will be there once we confirm the shippment.
we transfer the funds to bank account by ourself or google checkout will do that automatically.

How long have you had the GCO account for? I am sure there is a holding period when you first sign up.

Muss when you first sign up there is a period.

You have to gain their trust.

I use GC....new merchants are under scrutiny for 60 days. During that 60 days you wait 14 days before a payout (10 BUSINESS days). After that they switch you to the normal payout schedule which is 2 business days. We just got put onto the normal payout schedule last week. It sucks waiting the 14 days but just keep your nose clean, ship quick and dont get any chargebacks and they will let you pass. My payouts show up NEXT DAY. Like yesterday we had a payout and this morning it is in my account.

60 days sounds right. Better waiting 14 days then getting suspended on another platform and waiting 180 days....or deletion (on another rough platform)

Another thing to take into consideration is IF you get a chargeback for a purchase, GC will NOT hold your funds or punish you beforehand. They give you 14 days to supply the information that they want and deal with the chargeback on your behalf. If you should lose the chargeback, they will obviously take the funds from you, but only AFTER it is all said and done.

Paypal on the other hand...you will almost never win, your funds will be held IMMEDIATELY after the buyer makes a complaint and your account is in jeopardy.
