CCnow and Vero Items

Hi guys,

I know just like any merchant account providers, CCNow have a list of prohibited items/vero. (We are selling intangible services i.e. web design, hosting and support, apparently intangible items are prohibited).

However if you state that your selling from your website but are in fact selling from eBay will they know about this?

Lets say that once an auction ends and you issue an invoice, the customer will click the link from their email - CCnow have no way of knowing for certain whether this transaction occured in either eBay or your website - is this correct?

This way CCnow have no way of knowing what you have sold - is this correct?

Lastly, if items are sent using normal post and one can not supply a tracking number - will CCnow take action against this? Can we not state that the item has been despatched using an unregistered postal service?

Any help is greatly appreciated. :)

Why not use MerchantPlus, they don't care so much about what you're selling. You'll most likely have problems with CCNow.

Hi Aspkin,

Thanks for your response.

Merchant Plus dont accept Paypal payments do they? If not that may be a problem.

Can someone advise me on the following:

I really need to use CCNow as merchantplus does not accept paypal.

Still need some assistance on the above - any help is greatly appreciated.

I just signed up for ccnow. Now, I'm kinda wishing I didn't because of the problems people seem to have with ebay. I want to start selling some certificates and gift cards and such on ebay. I would like to accept paypal too, but maybe I'll just have to throw that idea out the window. Any suggestions would be great!

Forgot to add... I would like to have something that would be compliant with their new policies...
