Ebay checkout when paypal is not accepted

Can anyone tell if you have a merchant account that fully integrates with Auctiva checkout, how the checkout screen shot going to look like in case you don't accept Paypal.

On Ebay Site Preferences: under Payment preferences, I check "Use checkout" (Paynow Button) and UNCHECK anything under Paypal preference (including Offer PayPal as a payment method in all my listings

On My listing, I uncheck "accept Paypal" and check "use merchant account"

Here is my question: with me not offering Paypal at all, when a buyer clicks on Paynow button on Ebay, will there still be a choice for Paypal payment method (under "Select Payment method) together with "Other selected payment method" such as Credit card, money order and check? Or the Ebay checkout page just shows Credit card, check and money order method in this case?

Does anyone know how it works? Does anyone have experience with buyers using auctiva checkout with a merchant account?

Getting eBay to accept your personal merchant is very difficult. Best thing to do is to contact Modee and he'll show you how to do it step by step.

My account is pre November so I don't need merchant account approval from Ebay

It will only show what you have selected as a payment option. so if you checked the boxes for merchant and you will have to check off the boxes for which type of credit card you accpt, then at check out buyers will only be able to select credit card. But you will have to send them the link to the terminal and stuff.

Thank you for the info. If it only shows what i've selected as a payment option, then it will be great. I just don't want buyers to see Paypal choice (in addition to Credit choic) because 99% will click on that if there is a choice and these dumm buyers will get confused seeing this choice will lead them to nowhere.

I use Authorize.net through Auctiva which fully integrates with Ebay. Buyers can click on "Paynow' button provided on Ebay checkout page which then will lead to Auctiva checkout page automatically.

I know what you mean, last thing you want is some guy buying your item and tried to pay you in something you don't accept.

Good luck
