i honestly agree with some of the responses here, but stealth is reaching its end of the road even if bank works for now. PayPal going to be more strict as fraud keeps on increasing

I guess its a good thing then that ebay wont be using paypal as their payment processor any more. Start looking into using Adyen.

Running into another issue on an older account, that went down and then ebay reinstated.... the phone # on the paypal doesn't work. So i cannot even add a new bank or transfer money. I tried to add debit card, and it let me but then it wont let me transfer. i did add a new phone # to see if that works in the 5-6 months as people have said. However, what's weird is i dont even see an option to request a check anymore. I would just request a check.

Set it as your source of funding and youll be able to use the account to send payments as well using that card.

I removed all the old banks off this account and it still won't let me request a check. How dumb.

I received the e-mail in another account today and this time clicked around. It looks like unverified business accounts will have the option to have a check mailed to them if they don't attach a bank account.

Could a possible solution be to use a debit card transfer for instant withdrawal of stealth accounts? Debit card transactions don’t do name verification and they will be allowed for withdrawal without a ssn. Any thoughts? Does anyone have experience with this? Any debit cards that have worked in the past?

The update wouldn't have any implications on your non-USA account.
But you're using a UK account so you may have other problems to contend with.

I don't know of any specifically other than talks of UK banks tightening security around deposits.
I was just trying to reassure you that this specific update to USA PP won't have any implications on your UK business account.

And if you've added a bank in the past and removed it and want to add a new bank account, you'll get an error and when you call in they will demand SSN to verify your identity.
Paypal 2019= Nazipal. Papers please!

The way it is right now with the 'claim it' button is the same - they just hold on to the funds until you can actually do something with it - either withdraw it or verify your identity. I don't see it changing.
