I did yes, but they need proof of ID to let me add a bank account as they've already removed it when they were limiting the account.

Bottom line is they want a VALID ID.

If they don't accept it, it's obviously phony or they are unable to verify it.

They also know that you are unable to challenge them by legal means to force them to give you the funds. It's a bit hard to bring a crown court case when the account(s) are not in your true name. I'm also sure PayPal has evidence you are using phake docs which they would not disclose, unless forced to. That leads to another open can of worms. The UK is rather strict about it; refer to the forgery act of 1913.

How can I provide a valid ID for a stealth account? if I can't, that means no one can use stealth Paypal anymore if that what you mean, Correct?

I don't think you can. I'm basing my statements on the fact there have been so many other posters on this forum having the same problems withdrawing after 180 days on UK PayPal's. They tried sending them ID, but it's usually refused, sorry to say.

I have 17 days left until the end of my 180 day wait. My USA account was banned in part because my ID was found to be bad(They told me this). The USA rep said I would get my money in 180 days.

Guess I will find out pretty soon. $3.5k in the account.

Lesson learned is don't leave more than a few $100 in the account.

Best of luck - the USA paypal account has its own challenges aside from UK paypal account

Thanks, this thread is making me pretty worried. I had assumed I could just withdraw the money after 180 days. The account still has a valid bank account on it.

Not sure what I will do if they demand ID. 3.5k might be worth an attorney.

I’m sure they will let u access your money. I’m being told the same thing as well if they don’t release my last account I’m going ballistic on them. And keep us updated what happens after 17 days. Good luck M8

Interesting point made on the automatic document forgery detection application you mentiond, do you think they will be able to use this for bank statements ?
