Hi everyone,
I sold a jacket on eBay on 5th May 2020 (almost 5 months ago). The buyer paid me on the same day. I shipped the jacket on the next day with tracking info on eBay. It was delivered successfully. I also got positive feedback from the buyer on eBay. As my selling experience on eBay, the fund should be released right after that. However, I haven’t received it until today.
I have talked to both eBay and PayPal many times about why the fund is not released. eBay assured me they had released it since 11th May 2020. They told me I should contact PayPal. When I talked to PayPal agents, they told me the fund still be held by eBay. That’s why they could not release it. I have done that many times. But every time I contact either PayPal or eBay they tell me to contact the counter part.
Even I asked the buyer file a dispute so she could claim the fund back and send it directly to me. The case was closed on 29th August by PayPal as the buyer cannot claim the fund back. As I check on my PayPal, the payment is still pending.
Has anyone experience the same issue? What is your solution?

IS it possible Paypal never receive the payment?
where is your buyer and what kind of payment-cc.debit,bank,paypal fund? Quote:

Make a complaint to BBB? | it is not an engine,it is a jacket for a few hundred dollars
if you can get a Paypal rep to look into it-find the Ebay confirmation which asked Paypal to release the payment,then find out why it is not released.
May be Paypal never get the confirmation,may be the confirmation does not match up with your transaction?

@agent, seems like the funds are there.
Not sure if OP would be able to determine what kind of payment source the buyer used - only way I can figure is if there was some kind of echeck being sent kind of message...

Many thanks! | I would say try Live Chat on their site or call them, similar things have happened to me. Usually if you just talk to a rep and your account is in good standing theyll release it

The buyer paid me by her cc via paypal. She also sent me a capture of her balance to show that her bank had deducted the money.

Every time I have to recall the whole story since the agent never read through the previous conversation. That's so frustrated.

I got the same 'thing' (glitch). Holding for a long time and never received even confirmed from both sides. Support said wait until it cleared in spite of that it never ends.

Talk to the buyer and see if they are willing to help.

I've been in a similar situation, not exactly the same, but there was a glitch involved. I opened a ticket with Paypal Technical Support.

The regular support did not have a clue how to resolve the issue, the suggested many useless things. But since there was an issue with their site, the technical support solved it.

The most recent feedback from Paypal's agent: they have arranged for me a phone call from their back-end team.
I'm still waiting for that call.
Is there any way I call make call directly to them by myself?
So far, I have sent several emails to chargeback@paypal.com. Never get any reply from them
