Verifying your bank account and verifying your identity are 2 SEPARATE processes!

Your info will be 'matched' with credit agencies database, if there is a match...

Bank verification and id verification are 2 SEPARATE & INDEPENDENT parts of MP enrollment.

You can add your bank account manually or via 'Trustly'.
eBay CAN'T see the name on your bank account...

'Trustly' is a third-party software eBay uses to link to your bank account.
eBay CAN NOT see the details on your account.

They are running credit checks on Name & DOB (potentially address???) against the UK database.
I've seen it with my own 2 eyes on Equifax and Trans Union to name a few...

Accounts successfully activated on 29 Mar and have had their first payouts come through with no issues...2 more pending MP activation on 5 Apr.
All with REAL info, I haven't been able to pass any...

Something else I noticed with my last few accounts put through MP that wasn't there before.

eBay will now ask if you will only be listing on the UK & European sites OR on ALL worldwide sites....

I've been successfully running 10-15 stealth accounts since 2010, all top performers and top rated sellers so clearly not considered high risk in any way....

I guess the difference is that Gmail hides it by default without user interaction hence Ebay has no reason to suspect you. And using a paid for service may raise a question mark with as to why...
