Re: Ebay vs Amazon Customers

The feeling is mutual.

As for your question.. there will be people that buy from both platforms, and people that buy from just one or the other. In my experience, the difference between...

Re: Ebay vs Amazon Customers

There's nothing wrong with the post, it's an interesting discussion.

There's not much point to your post though. He was asking about the customers on each platform, not a sales comparison.

Re: My stealth plan - please review and criticise!

I guess you could, but probably best to keep it 100% stealth.

Just buy a couple of small items that you aren't bothered about receiving.

Maybe someone else can clarify whether that is a good...

Re: My stealth plan - please review and criticise!

To clarify.. you have your main address, then you can also add a primary delivery address to it also.

Re: My stealth plan - please review and criticise!

utd - what I did was add a delivery address to the account, it was the paid for address I purchased online. Then the random £1 items just went to there, so you could add a work address, or an address...

Re: My stealth plan - please review and criticise!

Hey utd,

I'm sure more experienced people will be along shortly, I'm no expert in this field.

Step 1) I was wondering why you won't be creating a new User Log in on your laptop? This would be a...

Re: Argos Click and Collect Returns

Maybe eBay will put a bit more effort into "Item Not Received" claims if it's they who are losing money.

Re: So about FBA and how it works....

I'm not upset, so no need to apologise.

It's odd, looking at your posting history you are a very helpful member, always offering advice. So I can only presume it's a personal attack on RosieTosie...

Re: So about FBA and how it works....

The reason it was said to me is that I was asking about small value items, paying postage would probably mean they wouldn't sell well and it would be a complete waste of my time, and Amazon's.

I'm...

Re: So about FBA and how it works....

I asked about FBA the other day too, not because I'm an illiterate fool, but because Amazon make everything sound so great and easy, the reality is very different and straight away someone pointed...

Re: Ruining credit rating?

Good info there, I'll bear that in mind myself too!

I think with all things stealth, slow and steady is safer.. infuriating when you just want to get on with it though haha.

Cashout methods...

Re: Ruining credit rating?

Meant to add, Barclays is good. You can add a few "pots", basically savers, and I've used those before without issue. So you can have the main account, then up to 4 pots I think, they all come with...

Re: Ruining credit rating?

You're welcome!

I heard Halifax is good, and I used Tesco and Tesco savers, you can open them online, so with Tesco you could probably arrange 4 accounts with just one credit check I think....

Re: Ruining credit rating?

I have some bank accounts for my regular banking. 3 accounts are for PayPals that went down, so I have 1 stealth left (currently unused) and I think 1 or 2 more bank accounts spare.

I think it...

Re: Ruining credit rating?

Hey utd,

I would advise opening a new bank account and then some savings accounts with the same bank, that way it's only one credit check.

Credit checks do affect your score, it did with mine,...

Re: Ebay dropping my listings to the back :( HELP PLEASE

I'm not sure if I imagined this little fact... but I'm sure when I had 2 eBay accounts to 1 paypal account, I read that it's fine as long as you aren't selling the same product on both accounts.

Re: FBA in the UK for small value items.

Little tweaks here and there help with managing the orders, but I don't mind working a lot of hours for the money, I just want to think of the...

Re: How to take out money from stealth without bank withdrawal?

Mortgage's are around 90-95% Loan to Value now, so James is right, a 5, 10 or 15% deposit is fine. We are saving £15,000/£20,000 between us for around a £200,000 house. Where I live that's a 4 or 5...
