Default Shoppingads.com is a SCAM, Warning!

Hey all,

I just wanted to put out a warning about a company that scammed me. Shoppingads.com - Shopping Ads.com is an Ebay affiliate aggregator. Ebay's affiliate program pays a % on your business provided tier.

For example
Affilaite A's links to ebay generate $1,000 in sales he gets 50% of the ebay final value fee paid to ebay.

Affiliate B's links to ebay generate $3 Million in sales - he gets to keep 75% of the ebay FVF genarated from his sales

Okay, if you became a shoppingads.com member you got paid from your ebay links at the highest rate because shoppingads.com was affiliates were counted as one account and they generated well over the maximum to qualify for the highest tier.

Also ebay paid for new users on a tier basis too, but they have changed that.

So, shoppingads.com would pay you more than if you were just a regular ebay affilaite.

The problem is that they are a scam!

They owe me $386 and promised to pay me on March 1st, but have not. They have not answered my emails, and they closed my account. I did a quick search and they have scammed all their other affiliates too.

Beware Shopping ads.com is a scam!

Wasn't shoppingads originally auctionads?

I earnt a nice amount through Auctionads, but didn't it then go down the pan somehow? Never tried shopping ads - but its not a surprise to see negative reviews about it.

Yes, it was originally auctionads, but they were sold and changed the name.

I have done some further searching and it appears they screwed everyone, all of their affiliates. No one has been paid.

Just goes to show you what a scummy industry affiliate marketing is, all the companies eventually fold and screw their affiliates. Or they make up excuses not to pay ala clickbooth.

Beware if you plan on spending any of your own money on affiliate advertising, you will most likely be screwed. It's best to stick with promoting your own products.

Ehh I have a hard time believing this, most likely you were doing something scammy or against their TOS. ShoppingAds is well known in the industry and they have always paid on time for me at least.

Bull !

I have been a member since they changed from auction ads. All my traffic is clean from a couple of concert sites that only use white hat seo.

They are scamming their members. End of story. They may not have scammed you... YET.

This post is just to warn people.

Why are you defending a scummy industry like affiliate marketing?

Update on this.

After several months of waiting they finally paid me yesterday.

Months after the date they said they would.

Aspkin or Greenbean could you close this thread or maybe delete it?

Late payers are not scammers, even if they delay months.
