coders need help with cart...

hey everyone im trying to build a site that when you add stuff to your cart when you clic check out it sends me an email or your order so i can send payment instructions. anyone know who or how to do this? i want to make it all like a regular site but that is what happens insted of checking out. i want to use google check out but want to send invoices. thank for help in advance. i guess if no one here knows i can ask at college. thanks.

it's only free if you use paypal . but if you use a merchant account its not free at all
