FB ads and Adwords - money suck or conversions?

Are large profit margins that can handle the hit of fb ads and adwords the only option to using them successfully?

I have the same damn question myself. the price of ads hit so hard, can't imagine small products doing that well in the end.

I could imagine using ads on like 1,000 dollar + courses that say I'll teach you how to make money using facebook ads. ha ironic

Couldn't agree more. The business model is "don't make money selling, make money off those who want to sell." The risk involved is almost none.

It's the same model as "don't start a business, lease the buildings to the ones who want to start a business."

But seriously, the majority of sellers on youtube are completely full of $hit. They use their channel to sell you courses and software, and get paid from their affiliate links.

The only one I bother listening to is this guy.

I did however use bing and on products I averaged about 80 dollars in ad costs per item. No profit because it was just too high. However maybe there are services, and as we said courses that you can sell for so high that you profit in return.

I know I see to just refer to dropsihpping but you can maybe sell other's cheap service's on a landing page that lazy folks on google and bing will pay for at a very high price.

AdWords and Facebook Ads if done right make $$$$$$

It's all in how you do it too. Most people just send traffic to their website/shop and hope for the best. Most don't collect leads or create follow up email sequences. This just waste money and makes running ads unprofitable.

With adwords people don't target buying keywords or are too broad.

Paid ads done right takes work but it does pay off huge.

My first shop years ago (small ecommerce website) when I was first started out was powered 100% by AdWords. I had nothing else bringing me traffic initially. I made money within hours of going live.

I collected leads and did remarketing which further increased my profits.

What you need is leads.. not conversions.

With leads you can market to as much as you want with minimal costs.

It is just a so broad statement/question. Facebook Ads and Google Ads can be the engine of one's business sometimes they don't work. First factor would be your niche. Some people only want brand recognition trough Paid advertising. I have a small SMMA I currently have 2 clients. A coffee company stretching from EU to South Africa. A smaller branch I would say. They use ads to educate people about their products, notify them about in brick and mortar store sales, events. However I have an E-commerce client whom we are making great sales and not steadily but growing. What you need to understand paid advertising doesn't works like 2-5 years ago... People won't buy from an ad saying 30% discount buy now. You need to establish connection with them, set up a funnel and walk them trough. Get them into your email list and talk to them. You need to think of marketing as a hole not just an ad.

Very broad topic. If you use those tools correctly they'll give you results in the near future
