Great to see you building a website, that's a good idea. Building the website usually isn't the issue, it's how you get traffic to your webstore. SEO, pay per click, social media, etc, etc, traffic usually dictates how much money you'll make.

Hi sorry, have not been around for a bit, the site is up and running, i use google checkout now.

PP is a no no.

Yellow , sales are slow, as I do not put enough time in to it, which is my own fault.

However do make some , just not regular or consistent.

Yes, you are right, the hard part is the stuff you mentioned.

Still working on it, is not easy, as I find it quite lethargic just from reading about it

It is super easy to make a site and rank it cheap. MUCH easier than going through all that ebay pain the ass. I made a site with bigcommerce and ranked it for the keyword i wanted for like $200. That $200 brought me 300-500 visitors a day... You don't need any knowledge to make a site using a platform like bigcommerce, 3dcart etc, but you do need to know what to buy when it comes to SEO. Obviously, it's a waste of time to do it all yourself, especially if you are new to it. For starters, I would just go to Webmaster Offers on WarriorForum and buy a few SEO packages there. Defintely takes some research and practice, but it's really super easy and quick. Just dive in.

In fact, I would start off with Adwords or BingAds first, just to get an idea about coversions and other aspects of running a store. Make sure though you don't try to advertise vero stuff with Adwords and such unless you want to get banned by Google too lol.

How did you rank your site for your keyword for $200? Did you use a seo service? or did you purchase links?

I did both. I bought several SEO packages and rented high PR homepage links.
