eBay Own's Prostores, is it a good company?
 

I just opened an account with ProStores which is an eBay company...I figured that it is free for one month so why not give it a try...

Does anyone have any feedback about eBay prostores?

Did you get the free Yahoo $100 ad clicks coupon?

Supposedly they give one to you, upon opening a prostore. If you have ever noticed the text ads at the bottom of ebay item search pages, those ads are from Yahoo. It was suggested that you use the free clicks from yahoo to place ads for your store on the page where your listings would normally show. ( do this through site targeting and Keywords), Thereby avoiding ebay fees. That plan however, depends upon how well your site converts visitors to sales.

HI: I use the pro stores..
I have one thats the $499 plan, but dont know if its really worth it.. I also have another at the $299 special--seems like same volume..(I am referring to an Anchor at the 499)

If they have your credit card details, make sure to cancel before the first month is over, if you do decide to cancel. It gets expensive.

To me, it doesn't look worth it.

I don't know why they want a .5 percent cut of my transactions. Don't they just provide the store? Why the hell are they getting a percentage of my sales too??

I am going to try it for one month to see how it goes.....

Do you guys know if it's possible to get suspended from eBay because of the IP you use for Prostores?

Because I am using an IP address (My Cable Connection) that I used to get suspended from eBay 4 months ago....??? If anyone has info on this, please let me know.....

because its ebay, there known for their FEES.

For me, I use Hostgator or if are a newbie bravenet, I also use the Free Mercantec shopping cart and Google checkout and Paypal.


Works well for me, the bonus is that fees from google shopping are offset by my adwords spend so it is essntially free. Paypal on the other hand.......... , I have it as option only to help with conversions.

If you are going to pay a % for the helping hand on a store, IMO Amazon webstores are the better option, 50$ a month and your items get exposure on Amazon.

With Prostores to list your ebay items, you are still paying for a ebay store and the ebay FVF.

Is there worth to trust pro-store, esepcially it's something ebay? I m using amazon webstore, so far its okay.

What adavantage would an Amazon store have over a Yahoo Store?

Right now I pay 100 a month for my Yahoo Store, I believe Amazon is 50 and takes 8%.....correct?
