Maybe they don’t want to ‘Buy it Now’ at the price you’re offering but instead make you an offer. I guess they’re just starting with a bit of ‘small talk’ to break the ice instead of just outright...

Seller trying to scam me with PayPal 21 day flaw.

Nothing but red flags just open a case ASAP and get your money back, I wouldn’t be surprised if the seller uses a ⊗⊗⊗⊗ tracking number when you do open one so just be wary of anything like that.

IF you do manage to get a suspended account reinstated I would give the account a bit of time to age before listing higher value items.

Definitely too high for a first listing, aim for very low-ticket items with values under $20.

I honestly don’t think eBay will ever go back to ‘normal’ and we just have to adapt to their new heightened security. Methods always change in some way and we just have to get around them or look for...

I’m sure they’ll just take a bank/bitcoin transfer, not do anything and stop replying. I don’t understand what they’re offering to be honest but maybe some sort of identity theft as well?

I’ve made new accounts recently that have given me 100 items/£3500 and some that just get 10 items/£650. Either way all you need to do is call them up and ask for your limits to be raised.

It has always been 6:30 on weekends and I think overall they have very reasonable hours.

I mean 8am to 9pm is more than enough time for you to get **** done, even limitations at 8:30 is still...

Pretty sure that’s a bad idea, even if you change the browser the IP, MAC address will still be the same. You could use a VPN but I’d still recommend using a PC with different user profiles for each...

By making an account underage you’re breaking their terms of agreement, they let you off if you only created 1 or 2 accounts but if it becomes clear that you’re abusing their rules to your favour...
