Does not matter if you use laptop, desktop, or mobile.
They WILL ask you for docs when you have some bucks in your account!

If you just want an ebay account, just because, you will be fine.

I lost $12,000 from my 4 or 5 accounts.
Fought them for 8 months.

At this stage I wasn't asked for any documents yet.

They will ask for docs you when you make first $1,000.
That way, they have some cash in their kitty, that they can steal!

If you use a shared proxy vpn, they may can tell you are using a proxy, but also 5,000 others are using the same proxy.
Thus, they could never find you!

Only if using a private, dedicated IP/VPN...

Yes, this is the problem now.
Before eBay collected sales tax, there was no issue, and also, shipping from Canada there was a $100 import exemption of sales tax, so you could order stuff up to $100...

We actually only sell from Canadian soil.
eBay is virtual. The products are physical.
Sales taxes are collected on entry to a country.
eBay mistakenly is collecting sales tax on products going...

Yes, US ebay account was opened from Canada over 10 years ago.
At the time, I thought to sell on ebay.com, you needed a US account, like Amazon does it.
