14 day trial for Shopify worth it?

I made one a little while back, didn't get any sales through it but it was half assed and didn't have my full catalog of products and was using a free theme, just looked shady I guess. It cost me money since I did FB ads.

Anyone with experience? Not sure how much I want to invest in Shopify again, mostly with the time of building the site, and spending some money on plugins and such, just to see it not make any money.

If you’re lazy about it, then what exactly are you expecting. Private shops can make you a ton of money if done right and if you know what you’re doing on Fb ads.

I agree with doL, if you're half-ass doing it than it's a waste of time/money.

That said I personally know kids killing it with shopify + dropshipping. I know people making 40-50k a day. Insane numbers.

Worth it.. yes.. but it's not easy.

Yeah, far from easy, that’s for sure. But in the end it’s worth it.

Its 14-day trial will enable you to test the platform, but two weeks isn't enough time to fully understand the intricacies of creating and managing a store. A 30, 45, or 60-day trial period would be more convenient, but Shopify isn't likely to offer those time frames anytime soon.

Join the shopify partner program. You can then create stores with ni limitations on the trail period (trial never expires). You cannot run sales under the truel, but you have time to test out all different aspects of the site, trial all the different apps, and nake sure yoyr aite design and functionality is 100% before going live and needing to make ant subscription payments
