Changing your IP address: Verizon FiOS
Has anyone else done this?
1. Log in using your IP in the URL bar.
2. Log into your Verizon account using username and password.
3. Going to 'Network Connections'
4. Go to settings on your Broadband connection.
5. Release DHCP Lease
6. Turn off router.
7. Wait 15 mins.
8. Reboot and boom, NEW IP ADDRESS!
but....
I've tried this for the last two days, and have had NO success what-so-ever.
It used to be work perfectly every time, now I'm wondering if they have changed something, or only allow a certain amount of IP changes.
Is anyone else experiencing this, or have you in the past?
Any help is appreciated.
