UK eBay & PaypalGeneral discussions about eBay.co.uk Suspensions and Paypal.co.uk limited accounts. This forum is geared towards UK eBay & Paypal sellers.
This is an academic question.
Its been over 60 days since one of my first transactions and the guy wants his money back as the item never arrived.. i looked into the time limits for opening cases and it seems to be 45 days for paypal, and 30 days after latest eta for ebay.
So hes missed both of them.
So i could just.. ignore him?
Or could he contact ebay and file a complaint or so ething sinister against me?
For feedback i cant figure out if its 60 or 90 days the time limit.
Im registered on uk site btw, though i imagine we have the same rules.

I don't know where you saw 45 days. In USA at least, the customer has 180 days to start a Paypal claim. The buyer can definitely hurt you so tread carefully.

More importantly - the buyer can leave you a negative feedback for this transaction for 90 days if Im not mistaken. That in itself can hurt.
And of course any buyer can continue to harass you and damage your account in various ways. You can block him from buying more of your items but you cannot block him from opening a new account to do that with.
Best to cut your losses while you still can.
