Using a Bank Account with 9 digits ??

Ok, so I've used Barclays and LLOYDS with success by opening savings accounts and using them for PayPal. I've just opened 2 savings accounts with Nationwide and the accounts have 9 digits! Can I still use these to register with PayPal ?

They are the internal savings accounts

They are not actual bank accounts

What savings accounts do work with Nationwide? I was thinking of Joining them for stealth.
