Gift cards and tax filing expense (cost of goods)
So i do my own taxes via turbotax and anyone else doing the same or have tax experience please chime in.
So i get a amazon gift card from 7-11 or other stores and redeem it via my stealth account to make some wholesale purchases, how do i record the expenses?
1. Is it gonna be the receipt of gift card from 7-11?
2. Or do i go to amazon.com and gift card transaction and print out the list and keep the amazon gift card so it provides proof?
The thing about amazon gift card is that its not like vanilla card where you log in and punch the numbers in and list of purchases are there. Amazon gift card you have to login in to your amazon account and see the details
So if for some reason Amazon Stealth account gets blocked you have no way of seeing the transactions (which is why i plan on printing the order list as soon a i make a purchase if thats the case)
