Is paypal loosening up?

I just got my ebay account suspended, followed by a limitation of my paypal account. I had $250 on there and I got scared that i wont be able to retrieve that for 6 months, and I really need the money now! They even reversed one of my withdrawals. But then I log in the next day and it says that my account is basically limited forever but I still have the ability to withdraw funds! So I did it and the first withdrawal it says it complete. I just did another one today, and have 1 more to go before i completely empty the account. Is paypal not doing that 180 day b/s anymore or am I just lucky?

What? A limitation that allows withdraws?! I've never heard of that.

They may have determined that your account is not reinstatable already. I received a similar message after my 180 days had past on one of my other accounts. They may also be phishing for your IP, so don't click any of the links in the email.

Yes! Its so weird lol and I didnt have to wait 180, I waited like 1 day. I withdrew all the money already XD

I'd be very suspicious, if I were you. What could their motive possibly be? Too weird!

I need my tinfoil hat, and it's still packed in one of these moving-boxes...

Well the money is in my account, so they cant touch it. And as weird as this seems, maybe they are finally starting to realize that they need to loosen up or they will lose even more sellers.

I've had an account limited wanting ss# and it still allowed me to bring in payments and withdraw to bank account for about a month. never had it happen again tho. but I think someone else on here was talking about that a long time ago.

It depends on the type of limitation. There are variables with what happens. It will be more helpful to be told exactly what was the reason for the suspension & limitation.
As guru** said, monies can be moved thro' paypal accounts. Would suggest that the actual reason be stated for us to analyze.

When PayPal gives you the boot and lets you get your money from them its because you violate something of the law.

My paypal got limited because my ebay account was suspended due to vero. The paypal acc says that I will be suspended for more then 180 days.
