 Will my ebay account be restricted after PayPal account was permanently limited?
Hi,
My PayPal account was permanently limited due to one buyer opened a dispute via PayPal saying the item was not as described/ not authentic. I accepted the refund but my account was permanently limited because I tried to offer a counterfeit GUCCI item? (I did make this stupid mistake, I tried to list a headband but it was removed by eBay immediately without selling) and PP does not allow me to register any other accounts with the same bank account.
My eBay account is fine but I am worrying it will be suspended shortly because the linked PP account is limited.
I was selling dress on eBay (not the brand on the VeRO list and the items are authentic and I can provide the source&supplier), however I had few eBay returns saying item doesn't seem authentic because paper tags were cut off (4% of all orders) , I didn't want any issue so I gave full refunds for the disputes and had no negative feedback. And 1 buyer did not return my item, 2 returned items were worn & not the original condition.
Now I give up eBay, I ended all my listings, I emailed aus@paypal to explain I will not sell on any platform, admitted my silly mistake trying to list one GUCCI item and asked at least if I could use my account to purchase in the future.
What can I do now if I want to keep my eBay account just for buying? If my eBay account was banned, will my buyers receive horrible message like my account is suspended due to listing counterfeit items? (which I didn't!) :(
