I think I'm right in saying that one connection is shared between about 50 homes or something? (Though I could be imagining this!) | At any given time, its those connected to the same router.
Another household with their own modem/router won't ever have the same IP as you. P.S. I've not come across this "NAT'd" concept here in the UK, and i've been with an array of ISPs. Quote:

Bear in mind many ISPs are shifting over to IPv6, and in turn this is making space on the IPv4 front.
