Default Have I got this right?

Hello

I have been banned from eBay and am not allowed to appeal which is really bad as it is my only source of income!

I have been reading the posts on this forum regarding creating a new eBay and Paypal account but I just want to make sure I have got everything correct.

I know I need to adhere to the following... change my IP address, never log into a banned eBay account, never link my new eBay account with a previously used paypal account, get a new email address, a new bank account number and a new credit card number.

All the above are not a problem.

What I am stuck with and unsure about is what name and address do I register to open my new eBay and Paypal accounts.

If I use my REAL details will I get caught and banned all over again?

I do not have an alternative address I can use and as far as Paypal is concerned wouldn't my personal details have to match the details that my bank and credit card holder have on file?

Also, if I use my existing phone number will it get detected?

Thank you.

Name/Address: Just use a different name. Any name is fine but your own. Use a different address. Address does not matter as long as it is a real address.

Real details: If you use your real details you will get caught and banned again.

Paypal details matching bank details: Do not have to match. Paypal doesn't check the name/address on the bank account. Chase works great.

Credit Card: Entropay

Phone Number: UK VoIP Internet Phone Service - VoIP PBX Switchboard and Telephony services

Hope this helps!

So do I pick an address belonging to anyone at random and use that?

Surely people don't get away with that???

no, never pick someone elses address, its fraud and they may have ebay account!

go for preferably an accessible address of a box or someone you know (who would give you the post), or your own address, change it a bit so letter would go to it, do a letter test, see if it gets there.

Thank you. I will try changing my own address a bit to make it different.

Just out of interest though what if you are selling a lot on that ebay account and they suspend you to make sure all is ok. They ask you to sometimes send in a utility bill with your details on. How would you get around that?
