Hello, I recently received an email from Patrick Sutton from eBay about possibly reinstating my old eBay account (one in my legit name). I’ve read a few posts about people who’ve talked to him but really wasn’t able to find much out. I would just really like to hear from anyone who has talked with him and their experience and if you were able to get your old account reinstated etc. With the new PayPal regulations it would be very nice to be able to go back to selling on a legit account in my name. Any info anyone can give me will greatly be appreciated .

By the way you might want to remove the time of the call - youre giving any ebay employee lurking the necessary info to make sure he doesn't even bother calling you.

Well he contacted me today and we spoke for about 10 minutes. He said he was going to talk to his “reinstatement team” about getting my account back in good standing. He said he typically works with people who had a balance owed to eBay and can offer them the ability to pay what they owe and get their account (with selling privileges) reinstated. He said he’ll get back to me in about a week to begin moving forward. Will keep updated with what happens 👍.
Yeah I’m really just not sure about him. I’ve seen a few posts regarding him and I think he mostly only deals with people who owe eBay money. Offering them their selling account back in exchange for the fees the owe (everyone I’ve seen post regarding a different issue doesn’t seem to have had any luck with getting their account back). I do think he can help reduce/eliminate the amount you owe (particularly if you had a large account that generated a lot of sales) but it seems like he’s a bit reluctant to do it sometimes. If you don’t mind me asking what reason was your account suspended Kajunrook?

LOL for reselling banned items I bought on ebay, NFL Flags, bought several on Ebay and got manufacturing data so I decided what the heck, great flags, awesome flags so I started selling them, mostly I sold "kitbashed" circus wagons.

I just filled out the paperwork he asked for, promised to never sell Trademark again (on that acct - LOL) so we will see. If reinstated, gonna go legit on that.
