Default Why leave account for 30 days before selling?

Just wondering?

Also how long has your 'stealth account' been working?

I start selling slowly from day one with no problems (20-25 low value items listed every other day across a couple of new acounts). I never buy on my selling accounts.

I have not lost a stealth account for any other reason than my own stupidity since coming here.

How come you never buy with your selling accounts? And which account do you buy from? It's kinda hard to buy high-priced stuff from an ebay and pp account that has ⊗⊗⊗⊗ info

I like to keep my selling accounts fully stealth.

I have a buying account and a personal paypal account with my own details. They survived the suspension of my main selling accounts though I am sure if I upgraded them and attempted to sell they would be linked and gone.

If you BUY with a stealth account and the item is shipped to a real location, PP and ebay will KNOW the real location. You lose some of the stealth.

This is why you BUY from your legit account that NEVER sells anything.

I think instantly selling and only selling on an account is a little suspicious. Now and then a seller purchases $1 items from sellers in china that leave positive feedback right away.

The longer you wait on an account, the better.

The payment will be held, once the buyer leaves feedback it will be realeased.

You won't be able to put it on BIN, I think a new user with 0 feedback registered the day before will struggle to get the proper price for it.

I actually think creating an account and not selling for a month isn't what a normal person would do.

I mean, they sign upto eBay. They know which items they want to sell and list them.

Not, sign up, and a month later "oooo I still haven't sold on eBay, will do it now!"

you cant stop Nigerians they bid from accounts in legit places like US and Europe..been there with the please send to my blessed sister who is ill and a nun, in (wait for it) Nigeria.

As for buying on stealth it is possible, as long as you ask before you bid if it can go to another address, they say yes (they wont if its high value item normally), the email them privately when youve won, 9/10 transactions go ok this way,

I have never attempted to sell an iphone, so I may be mistaken. However, I think a brand new seller listing that item might have the listing pulled before it is even searchable.

Do not try that. You will likely get a notice about feedback manipulation.

Perhaps buy coupons for free or discount stuff. Buy low cost shipping supplies that you will need anyway. Consider low priced trinkets, toys, or jewelry you can give to nieces and nephews.

In the Buyer preferences, you can block bidders who don't have a paypal account, don't have a credit card on file.

Also can block bidders with so many unpaid item strikes.

In nearly 2000 transactions in my electronic side of things, the only time a nigerian ruined an auction was when it was a high jacked account.

Can't you get somone else with good feedback and a more established account to sell the iphone for you - maybe a friend or relative.

You would be mad to list something like that on a new 0 feedback account.

It is easy to build up a couple hundred feedback in a couple of weeks if you sell the right items at the right price. Stealth shouldn't be rushed.

cheers

With Paypal accepted, it's 5 for 1 item and 15 for multiple.

And blocking buyers is NOT what is recommended on the forum. Ash has hardly got his account up & running . Qualify what advice you give. No way in hell he is going to list an Iphone on 3 day list with zero Fb and no payal,,,,

If I recall it is because a 'newbie' wouldn't know how. So it looks suspicious.

However the blocking process is much easier now than it used to be as it is part of the SYI form so I tend to make use of it straight away.
