Default encouraging Web Site sales

Is it against eBay policy to encourage buyers to buy off my website even if i dont have the link in the listing?

Like maybe offer some kind of incentive to order from my site?

Just keep in mind, eBay's policy is eBay's policy. They made many rules just for protecting themselves. In this kind of busy and crazy business world, there is NO TRUE RIGHT and NO TRUE WRONG.

If you don't promote in your listing and don't get too specific, you are fine.

Examples:
Post your web link ONE time in your ebay profile.
Print up a card with your website and a discount or promotion, pack it with orders you ship.

Well the items I Sell are pricey items that dont get repeat buyers, I still have smaller items as well that this method would work with but its not my main stream line of income.

eBay doesn't want you sending business elsewhere. They want you to put your products on their site. Then they want to cancel your listings and drool over you getting upset. So keep that in mind.
