Any downside?Mobile phone sim data VS VPN set to UK location - Any benefits of each ?
I am based in the UK, but currently needing to go stealth !
I have a long history with computers, but my networking skills are not great, no issue with plugging in ethernet cables or setting up wireless etc, no issues repairing and fixing computers.
I will be running 3 computers, from one location, my office internet IP is fixed, as my computers are at a serviced office location, I would need to access them remotely (I'd use googles remote login), I would want all three systems live, so one sim card is unlikely to do the trick.
I am thinking of using a VPN as opposed to three times mobile phone sim cards.
Use a VPN package, with multiply logins, but set to different UK servers.
Is there any real pitfall of using a VPN as opposed to three lots of mobile sim cards?
The benefit of a VPN, it is likely to work out cheaper and easier, download install app, password / user name , login, choose server.
If using mobile sims,I would likely go with the company Three (good signal at the office) for the 3 x sims, they offer a unlimited deal for £15 a month over 12 month period, but also I don't want to hit my credit rating, by taking out three times mobile phones.
