Confirm your phone number...

Good morning all

When setting up accounts I used sims to veryfy the phone number

The accounts are very old and these numbers are sure to be inactive by now?

There is a yellow banner across the pp homepage saying that the way you access your acdcount is changing, and that a phone number needs to be confirmed

I plan on gradually updating the numbers and verifying. Is phone confirmation likley to be needed for every single pp log in? It will be a lot of hassle if so!

Anyone got any thoughts or experience on this?

I would highly recommend you update all of your numbers

Also, keep the numbers active as many many times companies cut the line if the line is inactive for a certain amount of time

Yes I know it is time consuming and costly but we have to move with the times to be successful

Should always have an active phone number for security purposes OP L)

update by adding the new number as a second number, do not delete the original number.
Eventually make that secondary number as a primary in a few months.

So do that and from now on keep the number and everything else current.
