Signing documents online

Is it possible to sign documents such as Work contracts on your phone / laptop without to print and then scan again ?
I have seen Adobe fill and sign but I’m wondering if they are accepted by companies and won’t cause any complications/ issues ?

As long as it is done properly, then i don't see any reason why it wouldn't be accepted.

Some companies accept the Adobe sign, and some companies can tell if you printed and signed, then scanned before sending back.
