MP Ssn required link suspended account?

Hello All

I hope this is the right place to post this thread. I had an eBay account and PayPal account both linked with my name and SSN suspended around 14 years ago. It was a hard / indefinite suspension. I had many new accts suspended because of it.

Now I have a active everyday selling 12 yrs old eBay account in good standing. No complaint ever. It used to use just my EIN with my name (if I remember correctly). But since managed payment, now it’s requesting my EIN and SSN (SSN in required for primary contact / business owner/ director) If I provide my SSN, will they suspend this long term good account because of a 14 yrs old suspended acct?

I also have a 7-8 yrs good PayPal account with my name. I thought I only provided business EIN. But I just realized it today that it’s showing last two digit of my SSN. For some reason they have my SSN and didn’t suspend me due to the 14 yrs old suspended PayPal account.

So I’m wondering will eBay also not suspend me if I give them my ssn? Since my current a count is decently strong, will eBay ever “forgive” that I was once banned indefinitely on their site?

ebay don't forgive and forget just create new account with new system info etc..

then 1-2 years from now try again using your real info on new pc

I'm not 100% sure because I haven't tried yet BUTT I have read on a few threads that they will not ban you because of that.

I'd say give it a go and see what happens.
Once the deadline for MP hits you've got nothing to loose!

I don't think eBay required a SSN back then, so its unlikely they have that stored. I also had my eBay account suspended due to MC0011 and have since then established other accounts. I have signed up for Managed Payments successfully, thus far. My first and last name are the same and I established new corporations. My addresses are different, phone number, Ip, Everything, My name is however the same. There are other individuals on this forum who were previously suspended who have signed up with MP successfully as well, thus far.
Perhaps if you are concerned, on the premise that eBay has never stored your SSN, you can create a new Corporation and run all the sales through that...

I have signed up for MP with a prior suspension ( from 2012) using the same information without issue for the past 4 months, but I never say never concerning ebay, so fingers crossed for now

No problems for years and I have to sign up for Managed Payment in the next couple days. I will use my real SSN but the Paypal account I use has my real name son it as does my bank account linked to it and when that account links to Ebay will they toss me? Or should I get bank account with my "business" name on it?
