How to open US shop overseas

Hi All,

I saw many people here suggest using IPBurger's Fresh IP (on a new Windows/Mac user) for opening US shop (while located outside US).

I raised a ticket at IPBurger's website asking them whether this is a reliable way to open US Etsy shops. And somehow I was advised by their senior technician that Fresh IPs would not be usable for Etsy as they are datacenter IPs. They recommend me to use their Residential Proxy service for this purpose.

May I know which advice is correct?

Or other than IPBurger, is there any other VPS/VPN/proxy good for opening Etsy shops at all?

I do not have the answer to your questions but I guess I did buy the wrong service on IPBurger. Bought the VPN service for $10.95, tried registering and Etsys page just didn't react at all. Could this be because I didn't buy a Residential plan?

This means the IP address IPBurger allocated to you has been blocked/limited by Etsy. Why did you go with their VPN instead of Fresh IP or residential?

I found datacenter IPs useless, but IPBurger's residential proxies are good to go.

G'day mate, did you mean opening stealth US shops in Australia via IPBurger's residential proxies?

And once the shop's opened, you use resi proxy to run the shop as well? Wouldn't changing IPs be an issue in this case?

They have IPs for cities all around the world, so start choosing countries. Doesn't seem to change IP so quickly, 30 mins seems to be enough.
