UK MP for personal accounts

Hello,

I got MP invite for a personal account. I submitted my real info and it was switched to MP immediately.

But I received an email from eBay for a confirmation of the set-up of direct debit! What does it mean? I checked and found auto payment method was still PayPal. The bank account I submitted was under a different name. Will eBay find name mismatch?

I have this question too. Someone on here said savings accounts work with MP - but they can't do direct debits so not sure how that works. You can find several savings accounts which don't do Confirmation of Payee

Someone said "high street banks" don't care about the name on direct debits but they didn't give any specifics.

Is it the same bank account as the one you used on paypal ?
