Just made this account to ask as I’m very worried as I sold some jewellery for around £90 and the seller is quite known for saying items are ⊗⊗⊗⊗ and getting a refund while keeping the goods. If I were to withdraw my £ through bank and close my PayPal account would they be able to link it to me if he were to open a dispute. Only found out he liked opening disputes after the sale what was my mistake 🙃

pAYPAL dispute/cc chargebacks can come within 180 days,if you close your account ,there is nothing it can do.
Paypal never remove any account,so you may close it,but it is still with Paypal
If you were to withdraw the amount from PP, they can still reach the bank account for a refund unless account is closed. You won't be able to close the PP account
