4 gig ram with realtime compression giving me variable capacity of 4 (if compression is zero) to 16 (on a good day). Processor in this one is an AMD Athlon XP 64 3200+ (native speed in the mid 2GHz range) which has been dangerously overclocked to 3.71 GHz. It's been this way for years and I've been feeling warm and fuzzy about it.
The overclocking has caught up with me as of about 72 hours ago. I'll be humming along nicely at the upper threshold temperature, then randomly the temperature of the chip will jump 25 degrees Celsius causing thermal cutout. I have to increase the cooling capacity or clock it back down to a more sane speed. Yah, like that's gonna happen.
Yoz, if you have some spare time on your hands, will you come visit and bring ice cubes? I know they grow on trees up where you live.
