Default Amazon Seller: Change of owenership / Change CreditCard

Greetings,
Apologies if I am posting this in the wrong way or place as I am new here.

Background;-
So I opened an Amazon account using Company X, in which I am 20% shareholder and my friend is 80%. We made the amazon account using his ID/Documents, it went successfully, used his credit card and also mine. The account is active but we have never made a listing or sold anything yet.

Now my friends wants to retire in the Greenlands, and so I acquired 100% shares in the company. I have been in communication with Amazon Seller Team, to change the beneficial owner of the account, while the company remains the same. The seller support team responded that I should be able to do that under account>settings>Legan entity.
Furthermore, they also mentioned that if i establish a new seller account

Responses from Amazon ;-

Hello from Amazon Selling Partner Support,

I understand your concern about new seller account. Please allow me to explain you.

When you re-take the Tax interview you will need to upload the documents for new beneficial owner.

Please be informed that its not necessary to upgrade/downgrade your account status, you can re take the tax interview to update the legal name and documents.

Hello from Amazon Selling Partner Support,

Yes, it is possible to retake tax interview and update legal name while maintaining the history of your account. In order to change your legal name you need to take the Tax Interview again. You can enter your tax information in your seller account, using a short interview process that can be accessed from the Settings > Account Info > Legal Entity section.

However, if you wish to create a new seller account then the existing seller account has to be closed. Kindly note, Seller support will not be able to initiate an account closure.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Now I have a couple of questions.

1) Can I use the same CC as before the change of beneficial owner?
2) Can I use the same computer/ip before the change of beneficial owner?

Welcome to the forum - all the best as you master ghost

For both 1) and 2), it seems like the other account was in perfect working condition so I wouldn't see a huge problem - only thing is, just playing safe, I wouldn't want to re-use old info due to linking possibility but that's just because these links can come back and cause random issues

Thank you for the warm welcome.
Yes, I have been thinking the same but then only the US account is in perfect condition, while the EU and AU accounts are in review ( Amazon been asking for utility bills and so on) and my stupid ex-partner can't provide it. That is the very reason I transferred all the shares to my name and changing the beneficial owner.

So moving on, what would you suggest?
If I try to stick with the same account, would I need to get a new credit card, computer, and internet?

I just didn't want to get new emails, phone numbers, credit cards, Internet connections. that's the reason I want to change the beneficial owner on the current account. However, it seems the Amazon Seller team hasn't given me a definite answer.
