Before I got suspended my first listing was a $500 gaming monitor, sold it with no issues. My second and third items were old iPhones. Sold those also with no issues.
The first listing should be a low risk item is just a myth | You make an interesting point here. Kinda weird and dumb to list cheap items like books and stationary that will lose your money after fees and postage what kind of normal user does that.
I'm really tempted to say **** it and list 1 of the items I want to sell from the start. It's a software product sent on DVD but it's a "homemade" unbranded software product so not crazy risky like branded items such as Microsoft Office, Autocad etc etc. I know it might go wrong and people here will say "I told you so" but who knows it might work.
I know some people here might say I can never ever successfully sell this kind of software but I've done it on another account for about 7 years so I know it is possible if done right.
