Yes correct eBay will so when you reach the threshold change details to your own details as long as it’s not been suspended with managed payments before and upload your ID if you’re asked too.

No - dont msss around with the eb stealth info. Just register MP in real info.

I am not. I've been off eb ever since mp came into affect.
So, register for MP on the stealth account, right? That's the best way? Then when I reach a specific sales threshold I then submit real Id and change eb stealth ownership to real info? Or just submit mp Id?

You can just leave the account as a stealth account but you will be asked for Id once you reach £1000 threshold so when you get the email just change everything over to your name date of birth and address and submit passport.
Theirs no better time to sell now with Christmas approaching as well.

1. Change all your details - like address, IP addresses accessed from, access from a clean account on laptop.
2. You'll have no problems making a new account. (I would urge making lots of accounts gradually.)
If you are John Smith at the same address and register a new account... if you are the same John Smith who got banned at the same address, you will get banned.
If your address was 20 street name, then simply changing to 20a street name will get you through as far as I know (as long as you don't access from same computer etc.)

This will not work if you put 20a instead of your correct number 20 you will not pass managed payments as John smith example is not registered at 20a street name John smith is registered at 20 street name.
If you want to use another address you need to use an address on your credit report which has not been used before as eBay will verify you through credit reference agencies.

So, there seems to be conflicting information on this. I've taken a gamble and gone for your suggestion.. Use existing stealth, with my real details for MP. So far so good, Im told once I reach 1k sales they'll ask to verify my personal details, i'll then change the stealth registered details to mine.
Right, I've reached over 1k in sales, no email from EB yet. Using real MP and stealth acc. Shall I now change eb registered stealth details to real details before I get the email from eb asking for ID?
EDIT: Just logged into my eb and it appears that when I registered for MP, it updated my stealth details with real details...is this right?
